The Coleman Senior Center opens in October to serve Seniors 60 years old or better. The Center serves a midday meal - but that’s not all! We are a comfortable place to visit, play games, watch TV and meet friends. We can’t wait to see old friends and new ones.

Stop by 400 South Concho and see the progress we’re making! We have room for puzzles, a pool table, a special domino corner for dominos, and mahjong. Bingo will start soon too!

Each month you’ll find our scheduled activities and planned menus here on the website and also on Facebook.

Before and after renovation photos of a building for a senior center, with floor plans, plans for re-design, and text about the project to upgrade the Coleman County Senior Citizen Center.

The building renovation is happening right now! You’ll love all the ways the Senior Center will meet your needs.

Space for activities, exercise, card games and dominoes! That’s the new Senior Center - with a brand new kitchen serving meals. You’ll be able to reserve the Center for other activities as well.

We want our Senior Center to be an

“Everyone Center“

filled with fellowship and fun.

Darrin Black and Kim Walker donated the old NAPA auto parts building at 400 South Concho to the Coleman Senior Center. This gift launched the Renovation Campaign and a new Center for Seniors in the Heart of Downtown Coleman!

Above is the coffee bar on the north side wing. You can see how much progress we have made! We will be open in October!

We are truly grateful to the many people who have given to the renovation project! We are SO close to our goal for Phase 1 and look forward to Phase 2 which includes additional furniture, TV, covered patio, pool table, and other additions. Watch our website for a list of renovation donors. And, please join us as a donor!

  • The City of Coleman and County of Coleman both provide a monthly stipend to help the Center with basic bills. In addition, we seek funds from the general public and monthly drafts from supporters. Clients, who are able to, pay for their lunch. In addition, we serve Meals on Wheels clients who receive funding. We purchase much of our food at the Food Bank of West Central Texas and of course, we often have fund raisers.
